Articles of Incorporation/Organization
Every business needs to be incorporated.  Without incorporating, the business owner is left vulnerable to any debts, liens, lawsuits, etc., that are associated with the business. Incorporating also provides credibility and is absolutely necessary in order to receive business financing.

Includes:

  • Fully written and executable Articles of Incorporation for a Corporation or Articles of Organization for an LLC.

Tax ID Number / EIN Certificate
Incorporation is the first step to starting a business.  The next step is to obtain a Tax ID Number (TIN) or Employee ID Number (EIN).  Any business seeking financing will be required to have a Tax ID number.  For tax purposes, this essentially becomes the social security number for the business.

Includes:

  • IRS issued SS4 Tax ID Certificate.

Dun and Bradstreet (DNB) Registration
Registering with Dun & Bradstreet is essential as it allows the business owner to separate their personal credit from their business.  This is absolutely necessary for the business owner without an excellent personal credit score.  Dun & Bradstreet is the main credit bureau for businesses and they will assign a specific number to each registered business.  This is referred to as a DUNS number. Lenders or vendors, whom businesses apply for credit from without a personal guarantee, will require a DUNS number as well as a Paydex score.
